Nepali Academics in America

Conference Venue and Online Format

This conference will have both the onsite and online sessions (see the conference schedule for details).

Conference Venue

The conference hall is on the 7th floor of the Arizona Center of the ASU Downtown Campus. We will make use of the Room # 730 as the main conference room and the Room # 706 for a concurrent/parallel session.

The exact address is for the venue is 400 East Van Buren Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004.

The map below shows the walking route and distance from the Hampton Inn Hotel to our venue at the Arizona One Center. The Reception Hall is right across the street from the Hampton Inn.

Online Platform

Our online sessions include roundtables (webinar style) and presentations panels. While the roundtables will have more free-flow structure guided by the moderator, the presentation panels will follow a more structured format--each presenter will have 15 minutes of either live or video presentation (we prefer video presentations to avoid any technical issues). The moderators are advised to allocate at least 30 minutes for the Questions & Answers (Q&As). Submit your presentation files, video recording, and/or reference documents (e.g., slides in PDF) in our online repository.

Our keynote speeches, most of the roundtables, and the NACA business meeting will be streamed online. Please be sure to register to be able to access those online sessions. If you encounter any technical difficulties and/or want to report any unauthorized activities, contact conference@nepaliacademics.org.
